Invoices, VAT and payment methods

Everything to do with paying and record-keeping lives on the Billing page (/app/{your-company}/billing).

Invoices

Every purchase generates a branded PDF invoice you can download from your invoice list. Invoices are issued to your company, using the billing details on your company profile — so keep your registered company name, address and VAT number up to date.

Payment methods

Cards are handled securely by Stripe — VehicleMatic never sees your full card number. You can:

• Add a card and set a default.
• Remove a card.
• Open the Stripe billing portal to manage cards and payment history in one place.

VAT

VAT is applied automatically at checkout based on your billing details. Where your business qualifies (for example, an EU business providing a valid VAT number), the reverse charge is applied automatically. Adding a valid VAT number to your company profile ensures your invoices are correct.
